The Opel Vivaro is a cornerstone in the brand’s modern, versatile and broad light commercial vehicle portfolio. Impressive sales statistics reflect this: with well over 500,000 units built to date, it is one of the most popular vans in its segment. It holds more than nine percent market share in its segment in Western and Central Europe. Just like the Combo and Movano, the Vivaro also offers the right solution to every transport need with its wide range of variants.

Broad spectrum of body variants and interior configurations

The wide selection of Opel Vivaro body variants readily meets the broad spectrum of requirements demanded of vehicles in its segment. It is available in two wheelbases, two roof heights and with 2.7 or 2.9 tons permissible total weight. Alongside a panel van version, the range also includes the panel van with double cab and combi variants. The special Tour and Life models are based on the Vivaro Combi with all-around glazing. A platform chassis version is available as a basis for tailor-made transportation solutions. The Vivaro comes in a total of 42 variants.

The Vivaro panel van has maximum load capacity of 8.4 m3 and payload of up to 1,207 kg. The Combi can hold up to nine passengers, and the upper-market Tour version offers eight seats. Thanks to its domed “Jumbo roof”, the Vivaro driver’s cab boasts an especially pleasant atmosphere. This distinctive feature reflects stylish design and creates a sense of generous interior spaciousness, exceptionally good visibility and makes getting into and out of the vehicle easier.

Thanks to its flexible 4-rail system in the rear, the Opel Vivaro Life offers it all: up to seven fully-fledged seats, a bench seat that can be folded down to create a flat berth and variable luggage compartment volume by sliding or removing seats. The driver’s cab has innovative and intelligent design, with 12 storage compartments for all everyday items as well as a center console with additional storage space for vehicles without a passenger airbag. The side and rear doors can be locked and unlocked individually to prevent unauthorized access to cargo. The full-size driver airbag is standard, and the Opel Vivaro can be optionally equipped with a front passenger airbag (standard in Life and Tour variants), side and head curtain airbags (standard in Life variant).

Best cabin entertainment with modern infotainment systems

In a big boost to comfort and safety in the Vivaro cabin, the new infotainment systems (R15 BT, CD 15 BT and CD 35 BT) have Bluetooth connectivity, allowing the driver to use his mobile phone safely. An mp3 player can also be plugged into the standard Aux-in or USB socket on all infotainment systems. Two mp3-capable stereo CD-radios can be effortlessly operated by a multi-function steering wheel. The CD15 BT has a user-friendly display located in the center of the CD/radio unit, allowing the driver to easily navigate through various infotainment menus using rotary knobs and buttons. The top of the range tuner also includes a safety and comfort-enhancing remote display so that the driver does not need to bend down to reach for the tuner, which is a significant improvement in terms of road safety, and a TomTom based SD-card Navigation System is also optionally available with this unit.

Green light into all low emission zones thanks to low-emission engines

Only particularly low-emission Euro 5 diesel engines fitted with a diesel particulate filter as standard power the Opel Vivaro. The powertrain portfolio includes two 2.0 CDTI engines with 66 kW/90 hp and 84 kW/114 hp both available as ecoFLEX variant. Combined fuel consumption is as low as 6.8l and with CO2 emissions of 178 g/km if fitted with the automated Easytronic six-speed gearbox.
